I find that as a general rule, the larger the ring guage, the more firmly I need to draw, a slender cigar can get a bit hot for me unless I'm very gentle on the draw. I usually exhale through both nose and mouth. It's mainly through the mouth for me, I would guess about 10-20% through the nose, but it's not something I really think about - it's whatever gives you the most enjoyment from your cigar
