I've enjoyed a few piramides/torpedos/belicosos recently and I do seem to notice the slight concentration of flavour that the tapered head delivers (maybe I just like those cigars more) but I've noticed that a lot of people seem to cut the head at an angle instead of the straight cut that I usually make. I'm not sure I like the idea of the smoke being directed into one part of my mouth but thought I'd get the opinion of the board on the subject. Sorry if it's been discussed before!

Peterson invented the P-Lip on pipes. Its lasted for decades. It directs the smoke away from the tongue.
It is designed for preventing tongue bite, so only partially relent here. The new charity auction: http://www.ukcigarforums.com/showthr...lighter-raffle

What's wrong with flavour concentration?
If it's a tarry build up - cut more off...

People are always trying to reinvent the wheel as far as cigars are concerned. Makes me laugh when I see some of these guys doing there cigar video reviews, telling you how to cut and light the f**king things and how life as we know it will stop if you don't spend half an hour toasting the f**king thing properly.
Sorry...getting carried away there.

Don't get me started about video & magazine 'self appointed cigar experts'
If you don't buy their mags or watch their video's, they'll quickly go up in smoke, IMHO And perhaps cigars will then be a little less expensiveCigars & Forums mean all things to all men !

Hehe, thanks for the replies guys, I do appreciate blunt and to the point
Puff, I'm very much a lone smoker, just noticed it in several different reviews across the web.
