Great pictures but some big inaccuraties in the text.

Yep Monkey66, there are great pics (would have loved to have visited this factory) but as you say some glaring faults but also some interesting points:
Love the high tech beetle catcher but as there are beetles visible in the trap, thought they might use a lot more of them.
'Ladies checking the bouquet of aroumas, a unique skill passed on from generation to generation' hmmm I think this guy was a photographer & not a C.A. think the guide was getting carried away on a rather boring day.
The Strech test is actually the draw test, the guage measures air flow, as I mentioned in Day 4 at La Corona factory. I didn't take photo of it so nice to see one here.
I wonder if anyone knows, assuming the asumption is correct that only the best rollers & staff work in the Cohiba factory, do they actually get paid more than the other factories pay? It would be an interesting concept for a communist country but perhaps a little commercial sense has crept in over the yrs.

Simon, we went round the Cohiba factory in October and I took a picture of the draw test machine and I was asked to delete it from my camera however when we were in Cuba for the festival we visited both the Partagas and H Upmann (formerly Romeo y Julieta) factories and were able to take pictures, I will post one when I can find it.

Very nice! Anyone care to speculate on what size the two men are smoking? Picture 9 and the 'director'. I like the look of them.

I believe No9 is a Lancerous Laguito No1, the Director could be smoking the same or is it a slightly larger ring guage?

Thanks guys. It must be the engineer in me that loves to see how things, anything, is made so video and pictures of factories has always fascinated me. There really is something about observing the practised skill that it takes to make things like rolling cigars or working a piece of equipment look easy.
