This is my first year as a smoker. Now I appreciate that there will be an increase in tax on tobacco products. But how is it implemented? Will it be from midnight after the budget or does the chancellor set the date out in the future?

I think the budget comes into effect fairly rapidly but IIRC last year, Mitch at C.Gars held his prices at pre-budget levels for a wee while afterwards?!?
