"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
Yeah, it's one of those things that seems impenetrable when you first start reading them, then after a while you can probably work them out (especially the cigar names) just from experience. That's the point when you're in too deep.
It's a US term I believe. We would probably use the term 'high street' shop or similar. It means a proper shop you can walk into rather than an internet one.
LOL, listen to the wise Monkey, or spank it, I do not mind which, just keep it to yourself.
