What the Hell ya' talkin' about, lad.

All yankee hopes of an open Cuba market were dashed in the 2010 November elections.

      Tea anyone?

Umm. Of course you don't, senor Tea. That would be too much like joining the club!

(Ahem!) And let us not forget what Gracho said about joining clubs.

Easy there, BB, el Perro! You know how sensitive some of the muchachos can be around these parts.

Hi TJ, stayed in Coronado last year, first Cigar I got offered was a Cohiba - no little red dot anywhere.... so as a nation of avid smugglers do they really need an open market? it probably balances out better now

TJ, you may be utterly correct, never one to follow the crowd, they usually end up going over a cliff and that is not on my list of things to do.
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"

10 points for that statement Big T.
Do you seriously dislike the Behike or like me don't consider them 'that special' & with the silly price on top just killing 'em stone dead?

Congrats on the Cohiba, senor Puffdaddy, but you must have missed the recent occurrance in Chi-Town, USA - Millions of fine puros confiscated just before Christmas!

Right, like that's nearly half a Behike 52 in real money.

I do not hate the Behike, all I can say is that it is weird. I have had one or two 56's, a 54 and three 52's and feel no urge to try them again but I will as I fail to see the love.

This is not a first for me. I imported three of the winning cigars from last year, the Padron 64th Maduro or whatever. One for me, one for Jimmeh and one of Ajay. We met at 10 Manc Street to smoke them but Ajay went down with the flu and did not make it. Jimmeh and I smoked it but could not understand the love, dull as ditch water. We had a standard Partagas D4 after with not much age on and it was infinity better. The third one remains unsmoked. Others raved about this cigar. Even Magali in Selfridge's (Fox's) raved about this cigar, she said she could totally understand why it was a 98 out of 100 point cigar so go figure, and she is Cuban!

Ajay gave me my first 56 so this might seem rude, but please do not take it that way.

I will add that I have been amazed at how good some of the standard brown label Padrons can be and they are not nearly so expensive.
