Any one ever tried them and what are your thoughts.

I tried an aged one (8 years old I think) an while ago. I found it to be a fairy typical good value, well made but non-descript Dominican stick, ok but I wouldn't smoke another.

For me these kind of sticks just go nowhere, they produce pleasant smoke but never a depth of flavour or that big creamy body that I look for.

Big T and i tried a couple of these about a year ago. We were unimpressed. From memory they just taste like old tobaccoy paper...

You may enjoy. Let us know? Just not fitting to my palate perhaps?

I've smoked them and found them acceptable rather than spectacular. Be interested to hear what you think.

If Jean has anything to do with it they will certainly have some age on them!!! She is most insistent on smoking cigars with a minimum of 5 years!

Right now rather than making a new thread I thought it'd make more sense to post here.

Sadly one was damaged in transit but spoke to the guys @ JJ's and they sent me a replacement one for free but this time in a box with another one chucked in free!!

First off the construction is perfect, its about 6 inches long and a 45 ish ring gauge. What i noticed is that there were some variation in ring gauges so I decided to smoke the big one.

First puff was as smooth as cream the first 2 inches for me personally as good as the UK edition of the Por Laranga's last year. At around the half way mark though it changed it became stronger and you get a blast of pepper which wasn't unpleasant but you need a drink with it.

I'm still got some way to go and i'll let you guys know how it goes, one things for sure..... I'd definitely have another
