I have known many ladies and gentlemen who indulge in the luxury of cigar smoking and have come to some conclusions about the characteristics that make up the type of people who enjoy our hobby. Whether you agree or disagree with these observations is of minor significance. Rather, that is merely an indication of how truthful you are with yourself because all of these assumptions are 100% accurate...
With that having been said, I feel that it is my duty to expose and encourage stereotypes in any way possible. Stereotypes are forever awesome and never disappoint...Insert your favorite one here...
So, while this list is not all-inclusive, and I am sure some brilliant UKCF minds will be quick to add to this generalization, I nevertheless feel the need to begin this politically (in)correct, cigar-enthusiast, fast-food-cheeseburger equivalent to an intelligent thread.
Therefore, my own top five characteristics of a seasoned cigar smoker are as follows:
5. People who enjoy smoking cigars are awesome
4. People who smoke bigger cigars can beat up people who smoke smaller cigars.
3. Cigar smokers know what they want and, in the words of Dexter's latest nemesis, "Take it."
2. Chicks dig guys who smoke cigars... wait that doesn't count...
2. (Redeux) If you like expensive cigars you must be better than most other people. Why else would you enjoy expensive cigars?
1. All cigar smokers are secretly yearning to one day make out with TJ Coro or one of his many cyber-siblings.
Please treat this thread as a guestbook of sorts and sign it after reading this. That way we can keep a close eye on those of you who fit the cigar enthusiast stereotype. Don't worry, no one's going to use this list as a starting point for putting all cigar smokers on an island away from the general population, so wave your freak flag and mark your territory on this thread brothers and sisters!
