My concern now is that they were neglected for over 10 years. Whatever humidification I had in with them dried out too. No mould so that's a bonus. Been slowly rehydrating them over the last year but the foot of one is looking a bit worse for wear

Doesn't matter at all, but since you tried hydrating for over a year, and there's some “sponginess” to them on the squeeze, then try one.
