  • Recommendations - Every day goto.

What would people’s recommendations be for an everyday goto to stock up their humidors with?

    Requirements:
    - Not going to break the bank and reasonably priced to buy a fair amount.
    - Not going to loose interest on.
    - Mild - Medium bodied.
    - 20 - 40 minutes smoke time.

The rest is up to you!

    Excited to hear your recommendations!

Hard to argue with this at £6 a pop

I don't get much opportunity to smoke in the winter but I can see my summer months full of the MOFOH/ Desnudo in my rotation more and more

Cuban? Something small from Romeo y Julieta or Montecristo usually hits the correct mild/medium hit for me. They have a lot of options in those smaller formats, but the UK pricing is a bit of a joke.

NC? Probably an AF Short Story - yet to find something else as enjoyable, but TBH, there are so many choices out there I haven't tried.

The fact they're available in fivers is great rather than having to organise splits now.

Ninfas and Trinity Robusto are my favourites from the lines so far.

I have just picked up some of those new ones and am looking out for the half coronas when they come. The Ninfas are superb smokes

Cuban I'd probably go for ERDM Demi Tasse.... bought in Spain for price....

NC - hard to argue with the Ninfa MOFOH line

20-40 minutes isn't very long, I would have recommended a Nub Connecticut to hit your taste and strength profile but you're looking at 45 minutes to an hour.

Not tried the Ninfas so I’ll give it a go! Says the smoke time is 70+ minutes…is this correct?

Cuban's are the only Ctgars I feel qualified to comment on.
ERDM Demi Tasse, excellent smoke, reasonable price in EU, if you can find them, in the UK an outrageous £10-12.

                      Monte No5
                      R&J No3
                      R&J or Partagas Mille Fleurs
Even NC's aren't as cheap as they used to be.

Is that what it says ? I can't recall it taking that long but I may well be smoking my cigars to fast

I've got a fiver due in the next few days, looking forward to giving them a go.

Ninfas generally take me around 45 minutes. The guys say they're supposed to be smoked very slowly due to the RG, I think the 70 minutes is what they recommend but I take it with a pinch of salt.

Nice suggestions! Might have to do a day trip overseas

                              Ninfas? BR Ninfas??
                              Tried one...not a fan

IMO there aren't many 20 to 30 minute cigars unless you're puffing like mad. Even a wee toker like Demi Tasse often lasts for 30-45 minutes... Maybe just me
