  • New UK regional gossip

Steve, ldncigarsmoker, had unearthed some info about a forthcoming UK regional Cuban cigar from Habanos. No inkling on pricing. But on his blog are some details https://londoncigarsmoker.com/2024/1...y-2025-launch/

I'll take a stab at the pricing. 25ct SLB of Flor de Cano in a Lonsdale vitola, at 60£ each. So 1500£ a cab. Which disinterestes me immediately.

This would make the third FdC UK regional. Second in a 25ct cab.

Not sure if we'll see Hookmaker flying over to score these... But you never know! 😋

    So who's excited?

I love that this is a skinny format and not a huge broom handle. The last two LFdC REs are brilliant especially the first one. I'm quite excited about this. The brand doesn't have a huge following and is viewed as cheap and cheerful so I'm wary to have a guess at the price but I reckon £45 at least

Aren’t their cigars all short filler?

The regular production yes. The special editions have been long filler.

LFdC actually pushes the boat out when they make an RE. The Australian one was excellent as was both of the UK ones

There was also a cracking Spanish version about three or four years ago

Looks like these are available from 7th Feb, £42 a stick, £1060 a box.
The new lonsdale is an Edición Regional release for Hunters & Frankau. This is the third time that Flor de Cano has been used for a Edición Regional for the U.K.

Have appeared at <strikethrough>GQT</strikethrough> Surrey Cigars.

Might try one if cgars put it on a tasting. I've asked...

The launch is Thursday 6th. Not seen any events publicised yet. Have asked our sponsor to let me know about theirs in London. They are waiting for stock.

If anyone is attending any launch events let us know.
