Tupperdore humidity

Checking my tupperdors (how did they get to 10?). Need to replace some Boveda packs. There's been thoughts on this in the past here but what's the current thinking from you ex-spurts on best Bovedas? I'm thinking 65% CC; 69% NC; (with 72% for wood humidors). For those ones where the sticks are still in cabinets within the tupperdore, is 69% best even for CC as the wood will absorb? What about target temperature? Thanks

I am definitely not an expert, but I run 65 for NC, 62 for CC. Usually my temp is 14-18 Deg but I'm not super into temp control - usually the house doesn't get too hot.

I've found that even running different bovedas, they both fluctuate around 63-67. It's just the 65 tends to be higher, the 62 lower. Sometimes my 65 box will read lower than my 62! If I'm travelling with a small tupperdor (the sandwich sistema) I'll use a 65 as the 62 can pull them a little too dry for my liking when there's only a couple sticks.

Target temperature, no more than 20°c but I also don't control that. But mostly it's not a problem over here!

Humidity, tupperdor I always ran at 69% Cc's. Fluctuates with temperature changes, so long as they are away from sunlight your good. Wood humidor do whatever is needed to try to hold around 65% too. If this takes 72% that's fine I would say. Doesn't matter if you have boxes in the tupperware other than they will absorb and help regulate humidity. My cabinette holds 66-68% from the bovedas state. 65 always good, 69 slowly dry out.

Long as they are smoking well, that's your guide. I think the average day to day RH is the aim, there will be fluctuations. Boxes will buffer humidity inside too which is good.

And don't forget you can recharge boveda packs if that's your preference!

P.s boveda are +/-2% and your hygros also have tolerance. So aim for a midway point and lead with the smoking experience!
