I'm thinking of booking that Surrey event, good to meet some people.

Anyone else going? Might drag my brother along too

Too expensive for me but keep your eyes on the herf section, we occasionally meet up at Surrey Cigars or The Tup when the weather is better.

HH event is 50£ with Glendronach whisky.

I expect other retailers will list soon. Might pop down if cgars have in London.

Windsor is a bit of a trek, even Guildford is a bit of a journey from my mid Sussex digs.

I've booked the Surrey event. Easy gift for my brother's birthday

I've pre-ordered my stick from Havana House. Looking forward to trying it. I really wanna go to the launch at Boisdale's - but way too pricey for me. James will host a brilliant evening at Surrey Cigars - think it's at The Weyside and includes a dinner too. I'd be tempted by CGars St James event with that cigar if they do one - as i've not herfed inside their yet, only outside during the summer.

Coronas Junior and Royal Corona are both excellent also. And if you can find a Coronas Gigantes you're in for a real treat.
I'd agree with McDee, try these Boli's beforéspending silly money of Limiteds or Regionals.

Definitely will give them all a go at some point, just need to stop the wife-to-be seeing the invoice....

Looking online at every ones posts looks like folk had a good night at Boisdales - some saying they think this cigar will taste better with age. Is that a polite way of saying it wasn't a banger? Or is that just the case with Cuban cigars. I've heard folk mention that before when smoking the Por Larranaga 47.

I just received a notification telling me my cigar is in the post from Havana House due to be delivered tomorrow.

Have any forum members smoked it yet? Thoughts?

It's the case with many CC. At least a few years after being boxed for many people is a minimum. There's a lot of talk of new CC, since 2021 being much better fresh. Limitadas use tobacco aged at least 2 years. But they still need to rest after being rolled. CC are famously 'rushed out the door'. So many improve with age. One of the complaints about CC - why are they not ready to smoke right out the box when newly available? Why should we the punters age them. Because on the whole they do change/improve a lot - not always guaranteed for the better. But hey! Cuba es Cuba!

Hence the reservas, gran reserva programmes. Oh and the Anejados
