  • Bolivar Regentes pricing

Got to say quite surprised at the pricing of these. At 45£ a stick, I thought would have a much higher price tag. Perhaps it's just the launch price? Still over a grand a box, but might be tempted to try a single at this price to see what's going on.

Fancy box, check. Limitada, check. I mean, still bloody expensive for a cigar. But we're used to being stabbed in the eye much harder than this. A sign?

    Pretty good for the UK!

Probably an absolute no-brainer if you can find a box in Europe

Hopefully a sign that stock isn't shifting at the insane prices. Got to love the 21 regional launching in 24.
Wonder when the 23's will appear, the Ramón Allones Absolutos — 6 3/8 x 47 looks interesting, price dependent.

I did wonder why the launch event was a reasonable £275, including 4 cigars. I for sure thought they'd be punching around the 60-80 mark after the 2021 Hoyo

Release event is the 7th I think - should get first impressions then

Anyone's guess as to when the peasants get a chance at them!

I've seen available 7th Feb on one website that lists them as out of stock currently

By now I guess the retailers have them, but wont release them until the day after the event. So my money's on the 8th.

Although I doubt I'll be putting anyreal money into these other than maybe trying one if I'm feeling particularly extravagant lol

I've never had a Bolivar before (for shame, I know!) so it's tempting for me to dive right in and get something to sit on. All my current boxes are much less fancy - it'll look great in my plastic tupperdore

I'd certainly give it a try for 40 bones. The size is my perfect long smoke too, I never really like to go much bigger than a robusto

If you've not tried a Bolivar before I'd certainly recommend you do if you enjoy a full bodied cigar. Belicosos Finos is a wonderful smoke, probably their signature vitola. Coronas Junior and Royal Corona are both excellent also. And if you can find a Coronas Gigantes you're in for a real treat.

I was going to say that, if you've not had a Bolivar before pick up a Royal Corona instead of the LE and try that at half the price and practically the same size.

They have had some stonkin R/LEs though. Not had a soberanos yet!

If you are local, Surrey Cigars are doing an event for the launch.

Interesting that launch party is in March. Maybe general release is still a little while off

Is the unveiling of the Bolivar Regentes Edición Limitada 2021 long overdue? After a delay of more than two years, the third and final Cuban Edición Limitada for 2021 is set to be introduced in London next month. On February 7, the Bolivar Regentes will make its debut at the now sold out world premiere celebration hosted at Boisedale of Canary Wharf. This event has been arranged by Habanos S.A. in collaboration with the U.K. Habanos distributor, Hunters & Frankau Ltd. The Bolivar Regentes, with dimensions of 5 1/8 inches by 52 ring gauge (referred to as Discretos in Cuban cigar factories), the initial release of this cigar will be in the United Kingdom, with other countries slated to receive it later in the year.

They are showing in stock here. And they also have an event on the 15/3 🤷‍♂️
