My take is i have not yet felt the need to try it! lol There's a whole thread about this out there. I'll just trust that whomsoever tries this does indeed experience the things they say and my ignorance is, at least for now, bliss!

The thing about the photo, is, well, take a look at the cigar. It's pretty rare

Now I have been known to drop the end of my cigar into a whisky while taking a photo....

I thought it was just a regular old quai! Missed the 1492 completely

I am intrigued by the premise, but the thought of doing anything to ruin a CC fills me with dread

Tried it once for the craic, found that cigar wrappers are surprisingly waterproof when ran under a tap for a few seconds so it really didn't make much difference.

I'm sure this was recommended for cheapies like JLP a few years ago

It's probably worth a punt - that FOH video makes it seem night and day difference.

I wish I had some martyr sticks to spare for the experiment, but I love the way they smoke without being dunked!

Feels like somewhere there's someone who thought how can I get some clicks... and then it improved a nail of a stick... and now its viral

I've never done this, but I saw another video on another forum, that they did an experiment with doing this and found that it burns and tastes better.

Just tried this on a Petit Edmundo. The wrapper does feel nice and supple. Lets see if it does anything for the smoking experience

Ok so in my single experiment this seemed to have made a difference. Not sure about taste but burn was excellent throughout, even with me sitting outside in the wind. Seem like there’s something to this..

Trailblazing! Looking forward to hearing of it has a positive impact on a La Trova!

🤣 Malaka I have to feel really brave to dunk one of my coveted La Trova but I might just do it. In the interest of science!!
