Like you corona gorda is my favourite vitola (or possibly churchil). I've never really enjoyed the shorter fatter trend either. I don't mind giving things a go but there is already so much that I enjoy.

I too prefer a larger RG, but don’t particularly like the 4” length.

It's actually 3 15/16ths " (100mm) not even 4" - its just a tad shorter than a [cuban] petit robusto, and a bit fatter. For those short smoke times!

I really don’t get these slight differences in gauge or length. I don’t think they add anything other than saying it’s a slightly different vitola.
I guess it’s like women’s haircuts, there has to be an appreciable change for me to notice 😁
