  • Best recommend budget and mid tier cigar U.K. prices

As I’m fairly new to the world of cigars, I’m looking for tips on best smooth medium (ish) cigars for regular ordering around the £10 mark and also something to buy as a treat for special occasions around £30 mark ( I can’t justify spending more ).

My second only order was a mitchelero Peru sampler which I found to be very nice and affordable, never tried anything high end yet.

Excellent £10 cigars due to uk tax isnt easy in my humble opinion good ones though i think is managable perhaps , juliany cigars with their reserva, smaller sizes just creep into the £10 mark, very spicy initial start but soon more of a stronger mild to medium stick.
la flor Dominica el carajon is an excellent sub £10 cigar, small petite corona but flavourful, maybe more on the full bodied side althoigh does mellow a little in the 2nd to final 3rd.
Special occasion, has to be something like an E.P carillo pledge( worlds highest ever rated cigar too on cigar aficionado, amongst other groups too), oliva serie v melanio, (box pressed my preferred) ,Perdomo 20th anniversary, or to throw a cuban in, an excellent would be hoyo de monterrey No 2

Picked some Romeo Julieta miniatures up, perfect 15 min half time smoke I can enjoy with my brother as the toon are on the rise.
With CGARS you might as well top your order upto £50 so picked a random bunch to make the order up, one I’m looking most forward to was a flash sale Don Thomas Nicaraguan Robusto, will go down nice after a Sunday dinner.
Also picked up a Charatan Robusto from the cigar shop in Newcastle centre.

Just had the Charaton Robusto in the garden in the garden after my morning fast with some chicken off the BBQ and a coffee, 1st half a bit bland, picked up after that and smoked till my lips and fingers were getting burnt.

Also check out the Inka Secret Blend Red from Cgars. £12 for a robusto, with solid chocolate notes. Its hard to beat if you need to buy from a UK retailer!

Its so easy to get carried away on the Cgars website, before you know it your basket is above £100!

Will try both in future, I only ever smoke out doors so the opportunity to sit for 45 mins gets less likely with each passing day.
I did get to try the Don Tomas robusto last Sunday and it was very nice, almost creamy.
