  • Getting your cigars from A to B

I'm thinking of investing in a cigar case, but I'm having a problem choosing which size to go for. I mean, I smoke all different sizes of cigar, so there wouldn't be any particular case that would suit.

So I was wondering what other people do? When you're going out with a cigar, how do you transport it?

I had thought about buying a range of tubos's and just keeping the tubes for this purpose (or asking you fine people to send me your old tubes!).
I'm still waiting for the whiskey to whisk me away
And I'm still waiting for the ashtray to lead me astray

Ive got a small carrier which holds 2 corona sized cigars which i carry with me when im just out for a short time, like walking the dogs, you can see from the pic ive put two petite coronas in it as an example.

However to go to work or if im going to be out for several hours i i have one that you can put several cigars of a variety of cigars in it. In the pic theres a 5 Vegas A Maduro 6 x 60, 2 coronas and 3 panatellas... so a variety depending on mood.

if i'm just taking one cigar then i either opt for a tubo or if it is a cigar without a tubo i use a havana cigar tube with are only a couple of pounds

or i also have a travel tube if it is a robusto size cigar and i'm going to be taking it out in the morning and smoking it in the evening as it has a built in hydrating sponge

If i'm going herfing i also have an xikar 3 cigar case that i love

and also a 5 cigar caddy for bigger herfs

All in all different cases for different occasions. I also have recently used a big peli case to take a load of cigars to a stag do.

If i had to settle for one i would go for the 3 cigar xikar case, is expands from robusto to over churchill size and if you have some really fat cigars like Nubs then it will will take 2 nicely, it is lined with cedar and screams quality if a tad bit expensive. I love taking it out with 3 cigars and if i get the chance to smoke one i get a choice or can always have cigars to offer close friends.
