  • Piers Morgan meets Alan Sugar

Did anyone see this programme tonight? Watched it because I like Sir Alan, but there was one bit were Piers was talking to Sir Alan in his Office in his Florida home and behind them you could see several boxes of cigars in a glass fronted cupboard (not sure if it was a humidor as there was books beside the cigars also), anyway, several of the boxes were Davidoff's which looked quite old, and other boxes looked glossy/varnished off the Cohiba type (in America too - tut tut Sir Alan lol). Anyway just thought it was interesting, didn't know he was a cigar man and while watching the programme was hoping Morgan would ask him some interesting questions about them instead of bloody stupid questions like how often he cries????

Interesting spot with the cigars there, would be interesting to find out the details... However, I don't like either of them - but would more accurately describe my feelings towards Piers Morgan as being akin to a loathing. As I didn't know it was on I missed it - had I known it was on I would have broken the TV just to make sure... ]

(Wow, I seem to be in an opinionated mood today - perhaps I need a cigar, it's been a few days... )

Thats strange, when he was on Jonathan Ross's show earlier in the year, he was telling the story of how Jonathan forced a Cohiba on him the year before at a party.

Yes Simon the mere mention of the men see to have sent you off the edge lol , don't like Morgan myself, however do admire Sugar, find him quite entertaining and down to earth.

According to Stephen Fry, "Countryside" = killing Piers Morgan.

Those boxes in the glass cupboard came in and out of shot. It didn't look like a humidor. Mind you, they could have been empties.

Yeah you only seen a couple of (semi) close up's, not sure if some of them were Cohiba's but a couple were definately boxes of Davidoffs.

I like to think they were full boxes
