  • Do you have a favourite wrapper colour?

What's your favourite cigar wrapper colour? I like cigars that fall into the Colorado range. So not too light and not too dark. There's a fair range of options there though. I've not really got a preference within that range though.

For newer members, did you know EMS was a colour specification? Cigars are sorted by colour to get the most even tone in a box.

If all cigar wrappers looked like those pictured I'd be happy with anything from the 2nd one down to just above Maduro.

Where's the candelas also known as American Market Selection?

Colorado Rosa would be my preference but anything from Colorado I'm happy with

I've much preferred Maduro wrappers in my cigar journey so far, seem to be sweeter, earthier and spicier. Not a huge fan of the hay notes and almost citrus like qualities I associate with the lighter wrappers I've tried.

I’ve not smoked a green cigar, or seen them for sale, apart from the barber pole (Alec Bradley?) ones. Have had some lovely sweet wrappers in maduro and plenty of good smokes on all the range tbh - can I sit on the fence?!

Colorado - Colorado Claro, not many around these days, I believe the later used to be the English preference.
