Erm .... Google sheets? Anyone? Help me out here! Simon Bolivar you're a prolific note taker.
Indeed I do keep notes, I'd certainly recommend doing so, especially the first few yrs. Your tastes will change & grow as your experience widens. However, I just use spreadsheets, not really an app man, Can barely upload pics on my phone to taptalk for this site!
Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.
I was going to order a notebook but a app seems like a much better idea, any recomendations??

I have one of these works well but I guess anything would work
My wife has an interview today and is going to pop into Supreme Cigars in Warrington to pick me up a couple of Cigars, one for tonight and one for fathers day, so any suggestions? was thinking of trying a H.Upmann Majestic or Half Corona (my First Cuban) and another Brick House as I enjoyed the last one so much, any other suggestions up to £15?

You usually can't go wrong with an Upmann so either of those are good choices. I had a look on their website (UK prices are pretty insane now) and the other that I'd highly recommend is the Ramon Allones Short Club Corona. It's a lovely smoke.

Couldn't agree more with the suggestion of a RASCC. Such a good cigar, can last me up to an hour and has such wonderful flavours. Love them
The H Upmann half corona represents a revival of this once popular vitola, which we had not seen from Cuba since the Second World War. It was first created for the Melbourne Hart & Company cigar importers back at the start of the 1900’s. The company’s director was after a cigar which he could smoke during the intermission at the theatre. After some back and forth with the factories in Havana, the “half-a-corona” was born. Other marques also brought out cigars in this format and its size became one of the most popular in Britain at the time. With the War and eventual revolution on the Caribbean island, saw this size gone and pretty much forgotten. Until 2011 when as a result of the smoking bans throughout Europe saw this format of cigars back in demand and Habanos SA re issuing the size for H Upmann once again. Since its reintroduction, the H Upmann half corona has become a firm favourite among cigar smokers the world over. In fact during Glynn’s visit to Cuba, saw him smoke his way through several boxes with others on the trip. The short format makes for a 20 minute smoke, ideal for a quick smoke outside restaurants, bars or of course even during theatre intermissions. All the signature flavours you would expect from H Upmann are there, all that straight and light tobacco flavours. Hints of earth, nuts, aromatic woods and dash of beans.
I recently ordered some factory sticks from Tabacalera Aragon which were ridiculously cheap and supposedly long filler & handmade. Probably a little too basic/cheap for some of the enthusiasts here, but decent every day smokes for someone looking to start out 👍
THere are a few reviews out there on Reddit and YouTube.
New cigar smoker here, so looking for some suggestions of cheaper cigars to try to find what I like and build up a bit of knowledge, I feel the more expensive stuff would be wasted on me at the minute. Based in Wigan so have a few cigar shops around me in Preston/Warrington/Manchester & Liverpool. I'll just be buying 1 or 2 at a time at the moment as I dont have a humidor, so any budget humidor suggestions would also be appricated. I have a cheap cutter and lighter already.
thanks in advance
Why do you want to smoke cigars?
that's the first question you should ask.
Are you a cigarette smoker looking to quit?
