  • La Civette again

As some of you know I've been looking for NCs that tickled my tastebuds, and on the whole have been a little disappointed (although i have found some).

However I've just come back from Paris and I visited La Civette just for a handful of interesting sticks and the fella suggested I try the "La Civette" range. Yadda, yadda..."like a monte..." yadda, yadda..."rolled in honduras".... Whilst I wasn't spending hundreds it was a fairly pricey basket and I said I'd try a petit corona more out of pity than anything else.

Punch line is I wished I'd bought a few.... whilst it wasn't jaw dropping it was a good smoke and at 6euros.

If you're that way try a couple.

These guys at La Civette are always trying to push NC cigars? If you listen to them they'll tell you how plugged and inconsistent habanos are, etc etc

In an other hand they always have a pretty good selection in their humi?

I have a note book full of stuff.... Particularly useful were the Rodin Museum, Montmartre and sitting doing sweet FA in cafes with a good stogie or two!

My hotel was noisy, old and grim.... absolutely perfect. I shall stay there again. I think I walked between 30 and forty miles in the two and a half days. My legs are stiff... not so much jumping around at tonight's gig! lol
