ive only had two 898, they were decent smokes but nothing on the D4.

Kam - You need some Listerine to sort out yer taste-buds mate...the Party 898 is amazing and the D4 is 'mehhhhhh'..I've smoked loads and they're average at best ....IMHO

only 898 i had was plugged, got a few monte 2 left and they've been great. At the minute though the Romeo short churchills are smoking fantastic and you can get them in 10's so why not a 10er of monte 2's and a 10er of short churchills.

Could be the lack of sleep, or the deal, but I ended up following your advice and not getting the 898's--one 10er each of the 2's and the Short Churchills have been ordered. The wife is going to love me for this!

Looks like the 898's will have to wait until the next round. Pics when they arrive, and until then I will be less than patient.

Good point, but I got a pretty excellent price on the short churchill, so I thought I'd wait on the 898's. And I haven't had the Churchill, so it's time to check out a new stick.

Edit: changed my mind and got the 898's anyway. How could I not?

Just found this thread don't know how I missed it like....anyway glad you got the Churchill's,6 I was low so I bought a new box a couple of weeks ago there just fantastic...as for the 898's I've just bought mackemkeith an aged one for his birthday so no doubt there will be a review somewhere soon......
