I stumbled across this YT channel featuring Nick Foulkes and his sons, talking about various cigars and found it both entertaining and amusing in a somewhat eccentric fashion. Although I see Mr Foulkes gets a mention on this forum for writing in the Financial Times, I cannot find any reference to this series of videos.

Just thought some on here with acquired tastes may find it equally entertaining - for your delectation!

I've watched the entire series and find them eccentric, charming and hilarious in equal measure. Not taking themselves remotely seriously but quite informative on all things cigar. On that note, I'm off into the ancestral deer park for a smoke.....

I'm obviously quite late to this thread and only recently discovered them when I was ill over the festive period. I like watching them and they helped to cheer me up.

I've stumbled upon their channel recently as well and I find their videos quite entertaining. Nice bit of humour with some interesting history and cigar related anecdotes thrown in the mix. Being a novice, it's reassuring to read on here that not all cigar smokers speak/behave in that manner though - not quite sure I'd fit in if that were the case!

Also came across some interview by the UK Cigar Scene channel with Simon Chase and found those quite informative.

Did any one appreciate the 6-/40 cutting of a Trini Fundy? I was appalled, if you want a shorter smoke there's the Reyes & then the son mentions it was imported to smoke the foot half the right way around as the blenders had rolled it with progressive flav in mind! Didn't hear them mention without the cap you find the foot end unravelling, lots of licking it to keep it stuck together.

I have watched some I quite like it. Another one on YouTube to watch is Kirby Allison when he does cigar videos with the Sarhakians who run Davidoff London. The younger Foulkes one works in that store

Have only just come across this YT channel (through Kirby) and I find them both hysterical.

It’s pretty tongue in cheek and despite the Eton-esque voices and choice of lexicon I don’t think they take themselves too seriously.

I’m only c.30 pages into the book and it’s excellent so far. Lovely for the coffee table and the cover is beautiful. £18 on Amazon if anyones interested.
