Boom. Bolivar it is. Remains a forum favourite. Will light one up on today's pre-phased-end-of-lockdown-when-you'll-be-able-to-visit-MIL-not-pub lunchtime walk if it doesn't rain... its started to rain ...

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Bolivar used to be strong but they have really been tamed down. I doubt that there are still any really strong CCs out there. I've had some older Bolis that gave me a hefty kick in the butt though.

Hi gojira and thanks for your input. I was always under the pression they were the strongest of the strong so your comment has put that thought to bed but do you know why CC's have toned down the strength?, Is it down to the blenders who are looking for a wider market? Many thanks in advance, Wayne.

I think it’s similar to cigars smoking well fresh in the recent couple of years whereas years gone by you would have needed to rest them for a lot longer. The average consumer wants something that’s good Today, there’s no patience for ageing.
This isn’t a blanket statement for all cigars and may not be true, just what I’ve read and seems to make sense.
