I quite like this advice. Think it’s a good shout, will give that shot. Any recommendations of a good mild cigar to try?

You'll get different view on what's mild, but my favourite mild/medium's would be any LGC first of all. But then Monte's and Upmanns.

If thinking NC, then Davidoff are ideal, otherwise think Connecticut wrappers generally a good sign they'll be mild

If you've got a really smooth cigar, no worries with retrohale. But definitely peppery or spicy cigar, on the nose are a killer!

You can dilute the smoke in your mouth before blowing through the nose.

Im currently really struggling to identify flavour notes so am hoping this technique will help.
Never blow the full drag out through your nose. Try to exhale about 80% of it through your mouth and just the last bit through the nose with lots of air from your lungs to dilute. Start with as little as possible and then work your way up from there.
