I have a friend who shares a cigar with me sometimes. Of course I'm cool with it - I think the more cigar smokers the merrier, love sharing one with a friend. The fact that I find it attractive is by the by; she's an attractive girl and anything she does adds to that really. But especially things like climbing, cigars, motorsports, watches - it's great when women join in any typically male-dominated hobby.

My wife will have an occasional puff but I can't see her ever smoking a whole one.
Generally speaking I'd like to see more women (and men) smoking cigars, as it's a niche hobby.
There's a few women who frequent Astoria Cigars down here, sometimes alone and sometimes with their partners.

My other half has the occasional puff on whatever I’m smoking and very rarely may have a short, mild Davidoff.
Don’t see why anyone would object to it really and CV has no doubt increased SOTL on YouTube and Instagram.
In Cuba it’s the norm and much more common to see women smoking (cigarillos / cigarettes) across Europe vs. stood outside a Wetherspoons in the cold rain here in the UK.

Good to see support!
I'm afraid I don't see any differences between what activities a man or woman (or any other individual) can enjoy, and while everyone is allowed their opinion, the fact is that sexism and misogny will not be allowed on this forum.
I would go as far as to say I'd prefer not seeing scantily clad pictures of people smoking or people gushing over pictures in a 'sexist' way on here. Obviously Peejay's picture is of his wife enjoying with a cigar, is more than fine and doesn't fall into either category! I think we all know what I meant before I get myself into trouble!
I'm a believer in free speech, but lines need to be drawn somewhere for the greater good - and this is one of those issues I think we shouldn't tolerate in society.
I'll get off my soap box. Synopsis is: I'm all for anyone enjoying our hobby!

I suppose the perception in the UK is it’s a “man’s” past time which is the same as “rich persons” past time - totally wrong.
Whatever floats your boat and makes you happy is all that matters.
No matter what walk of life you come from
or what reproductive organs genetics gave you, you should be able to enjoyable fine cigar!

Pandora, I have been smoking cigars for 42yrs & in that time have met only a handful of lady cigar smokers. Many of us know Joan from Gesto's & there's Aura in Porto, Mildry in Florida (Cuban Exile) & Milagro in Austria & Cuba. At previous UKCF Herf's a few wives & girlfriends had a cigar or two but I don't think many would smoke regularly. Personally I think it's much more interesting to have mixed groups of smokers but it is more common abroad.
My wife hates the smell & only ever had a puff on our first visit to Cuba.
You see many photos of models with cigars but most are unlit or just posing with it, very few seem to be actually smoking the cigars.
I have known a chap who got his wife into cigars & she ended up smoking more than him & became more knowledgeable. It ended up he would go out on his own to smoke with his male mates & she would go out with mixed mates. Rather sad really.
I think you're doing a fine job & I am sure if you mix socially, where smoking is allowed (rather limited in a cold & wet UK), then giving an lady who asks a question or looks interested a smaller, slimmer cigar to start with, may encourage more to join the happy band of SOTL.Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.
