Best AF I've smoked this year, this Robusto had flawless construction, the draw, burn, smoke output and ash all excellent, with wonderful flavours of sweet spices, brown sugar and molasses, was like Mississippi in the middle of a dry spell. Quite strong in the final third.
A nice PLPC, draw was a bit tight and burn a bit uneven but produced a nice ash a couple of times. Flavours were very nice of rich caramel, sometimes a little salted caramel. With the tight draw and a slow burn this lasted an hour and ten.
A lovely ERDM DT, draw, burn and smoke output were excellent and the flavours started off nutty before turning to warm dough and shortbread, the aroma was like a bakery by the end, really really nice.
A splendid Padron 64 Principe, a beautiful creamy smoke with perfect construction and a great combo of the earthy, peppery zing and fullish strength of a NC with the sweet desert-like flavours of a CC.
A mixed HUHC, burn and ash were excellent but the draw was pretty tight and the wrapper was loose, flavours were nice once it opened up, sweet woods and roasted nuts.
A fantastic Eastern Standard. Beautiful construction with a razor sharp burn and straight ash all the way down to the label, with lovely savoury mushroom, eastern spices and dark caramel flavours.
