Very enjoyable smoke, a good burn and a loose easy draw that produced a prodigious creamy smoke but also caused the cigar to run a little hot. Flavours were nice, more savoury and woody to start with and becoming sweeter and desert-like in the second half.
A really nice Upmann Anejados, beautiful construction both within and without, with a good burn, draw, nice ash and the usual Upmann creamy smoke. Flavours were very tasty of sweet woods with caramel notes.
This unique looking Shark beauty had excellent construction, with a good draw, once you cut it open enough, a good burn and a strong ash with thick creamy plumes. Flavours and strength were nice but not so full more medium, with notes of sweet earth, cedar, some citrus and a bite of pepper on the retrohale, yet still I found it very smooth and moreish and had to stop myself smoking this too quickly. Lasts a good hour and forty min.
Punch 48, nice burn and ash but the draw was tight so had to PerfecDraw it and it pulled out a couple of stems, but then it smoked well, the fruity spices becoming very sweet towards the end.
Hoyo for me too today, this one drew and smoked really well, fragrant and sweet with hints of nuts, quite smooth but a tang of pepper there too, and the burn was a bit off producing the usual lopsided but strong Hoyo ash.
A lovely day for a nice 2018 RASS, burn and ash were very good but the draw was a bit tight, gave my lungs a good workout. Had deep rich flavours of gingerbread, dark brown sugar and a touch of marzipan. Tight draw and slow burn meant this lasted an hour and forty min.
