  • London Heathrow duty free

    Hi all,

Going to Italy soon and was wondering if there were any good cigar shops in the duty free that are worth an explore!

    Cheers,
    Will

      Cigar House at T5

I pass through T5 a few times a year and the selection was best when it first opened. Had a look last week and they seem to have done away with the singles cabinet, now all boxes of 25's and 3 or 5 packs. Couldnt see anything special or any new-ish releases.

Don't now if T3 is the same.

They're not great prices though! Where are you going to? That might be a better option.

I went in the T3 walk in a few weeks ago and it didn't seem like duty free prices to me!

Im pretty sure you can only buy duty free if your travelling outside the EU. Otherwise they add VAT

Heathrow do 'duty free' prices regardless of where you are travelling. T3 is worth a trawl through, a few aged boxes. They also tend to have a good sale in December.

I'm off to the US in about 4 weeks so will be going through Terminal 3. Good excuse to have a look around.

My understanding and experience on cigars is they changed it about 12 months ago as they were doing no business. certainly this was the case in T5 last month ...one price for everyone.

I flew Heathrow to Aberdeen last year from T5 and picked up a half box of RyJ Price of Wales with H&F vinatge band on and paid the price that was advertised. Got a good deal comapred to other UK sellers.
