  • Alot of Punch in a little packet

Wow! I just smoke quite possibly the best cigar i ever had - A Petit Punch. I was in the mood for little something different to close my week, so dug deep (all of about 4 inches lol) into my tupperdore for my box that holds gift cigars to remind myself what I had there.

i was pleased to see i had a petit punch, and given that I just gift one in a set to my business partner I thought I might as well enjoy that. As i pulled it out i doubly please to see it had some bloom on it! Yup my very first experience of bloom on a cigar of my own.

I stepped into my garden and lit up. Right from the beginning i could tell i had something special - the draw was perfect - neither too fast nor clogged. the flavor was full and on the top of my tongie, with nary a hint hitting the sides as I find with a more young cigar. I wish I was one of the guys who could tell you every flavour in the boquet, but i guess my tastes just arent that sophisticated. All i can tell you is that it was simply the best cigar I had ever had. It was consistent all the way through the smoke - never changing and always lovely.

i almost wept when it was over, but I managed to smoke quite a bit of it!

Anit life a bitch? I too was very impressed with my first Petit Punch & you'd think with outdoor smoking being all the rage, that the smaller punchier smokes would sell well but it's another vitola that disappeared with the recent cuts. Worth looking for, if you can find a box left at he back of a shop, give us a shout & I'll spilt it with you

I picked up a box last year fortunately. Big fan of these-they were my 'go to' at the start of my cigar smoking career. Big flavour in a small package. Richer than the RASCC I reckon. Need to be smoked slow though. I get lots of rich dried fruit flavours, like Christmas pudding.

That was the other suprising thing about the petit punch - it took me about 45 mins to smoke. I thought it would be 25-30.

I do try and only puff about once every 45sec to a min (or more). I've found that by slowing down the flavours improve. Although that could just be my imagination

They are still readily available online. Just order a few boxes & you'll be set for a while. I agree at their price point they are great little cigars.
What would I know? I'm just a backwoods roo packin crim from New Holland! LOL. (Thankyou El Cat)

It is my understanding that H&F do have stocks of these in their warehouse...

So a visit to any reputable tobacconists and a request for a box should prove to be fruitful...

Nope, you're right. Pipe smokers have known that trick for years
