We are currently working on a website for the shop which will include current news / events. Still a few months away I'm afraid.
The davidoff.com website blocks UK users as it is run by the Swiss parent company and they are very concerned about the UK tobacco advertising legislation.
If you use Twitter then follow our "DavidoffLondon" tweets as we tend to include current news on that.

Sorry to hear about the negative experiences at Davidoff - no excuses as it shouldn't happen. Please do pop in again and see if we can change your minds - just ask for Eddie if I'm not upstairs.

David thanks - we'll give that some thought.

In the meantime, there is the "Art of Being British" fair on Jermyn Street on the 4th September from 12-5pm (http://is.gd/eqTNL). We will have Hamlet outside the shop rolling cigars and it should be a fun day for all (weather permitting)!

I have seen this on another thread and have pencilled it in. Great excuse to go up town with the wife under the umbrella of a street fair which will lead as if by magic to a cigar shop!! "oh look at this" A cigar shop...I'll just be a minute...."

            Definitely up for this.

Seeing as you haven't copyrighted this idea, I am stealing for use with my own Wife.

              Good work fella.

just stumbled on this thread and dont want to sound negative or repetitive but id just like to echo what a number of BOTL have said regards to there experience with Davidoff as i myself have experienced a poor show from them. I visist London probably twice a year and have done for quite a number of years now and only ever visited Davidoff once and never returned due to being made to feel very uncomfortable i wandered down the road that day to JJFox and have returned time after time without fail, but im willing to say i'll pop into Davidoff next time im in the capital just to give them the benifit of the doubt and will ask for Eddie

I think its great you suggest we ask for you Eddie but wouldnt it be better that all staff gave every customer 100% no matter who they are?

I have been to Davidoff many times and the staff have always been great.I walk in wearing my baseball cap and jeans and I am not made to feel anything but welcomed. Ask for Bob or Dougie, they are very helpful and very informtive.

All of the main stores greet me like the whiff of great sex. The walk-in humidor smell. The air-clinging Sublimes nasal throb. They all get me squirming. Can't get enough of it.

If you walk in with the largesse of a pet insurance salesman in a boiler suit, all staff are attentive, I find.

I think once the staff suss that you are a cigar man, things go well. I can't afford ?950 for a new humi every time I visit. Just now and then.

I think all the London stores give good and personalised service. There's only one with a very strange humi - storeroom set-up, and I only drop by when I'm untooled before a gallery swoop. It's a sort of emergency cigar place, if you will, and is quite ordinary.

I just like sloping off to these places and hanging around like I used to do in Soho.

hmm... weird to hear things like that about Davidoff! Probably one of my favourite shops not only in the UK, but anywhere else I have been in europe. It has an aura that for some reason I love.

Never had problems with staff, maybe it is because I look like greek god

                              (NOT!)

Eddie, I might be there soon, I will look for you.
