  • The good thing about 'falling out' of the Cigar Hobby for a while...

Is that when you get back into it...your smokes are all aged nicely!

Just got a PM from deano, so I thought i'd drop by, haven't been posting here much recently. Been busy with my business, hard times! Haven't really been smoking much, sadly I view cigars as a time sync now, not good. But I sat down with a lovely augusto reyes lancero cigar on friday and it all came back to me, watching the smoke in the sun

    Hows everyone doin?

    Yours, mR B

We is good! Glad you made it back. Can't you work and smoke at the same time? I do!

I had that thing happen to me for nearly a decade! Sadly I had no cigars, and only a small leather travel humidor. Back then I bought a batch of 25 moderately cheap Churchill Dominicans. Could only fit 7 in my humidor, leaving the rest to slowly dry out. Gave them away to colleagues at work in the end. Even they found them too dry to smoke.

Well if work gets you down, at least you have a few aged cigars to cheer you up then.

I agree with you on this one. I think a break from cigars can be a good thing for a number of reasons.

          Good for the finances.
Allows cigars to age a little more.
Better appreciation of them as per the law of diminishing returns.
