I nicked this from another thread. It's one of Lee's posts.
I eat Cains for breakfast, I do weigh 350 though lol. I had a couple the other day before lunch and without breakfast, only time I had a "whitey" was when I smoked that nub in under 30 minutes. Now that was a bad experience lol
My trouble is I have a 'whitey' buzz experience with almost every cigar I smoke above 40 gauge or demi coronas size. Ok, with greater experience the sensation might decrease or go-away; and I'm a bit slighter than Lee at 156lbs.
On the plus front, I've loved the first third of nearly every cigar I've smoked, but around half way the whoosiness begins to kick in. Sometimes I can stay with it, but mostly I go the Zino Davidoff route and bale out before the final third.
Now, a lot of guys on here love to smoke big, strong cigars. My question I guess is ....Is the 'buzz' a part of cigar enjoyment, a challenge almost something to be controlled and overcome or which we might try to allow ourselves to relax into?
Buzz or not to Buzz.
