  • Where would you like to smoke a cigar but couldn't?

Last evening as England cruised to an imperious victory over those dirty diggers at the Rose Bowl, I sat back watching such wonderfully named English batsmen as Kieswetter, and Eioeioeioen Morgan, hitting a four to bring up his unbeaten 103 and to win the match, and I looked at the sparkling modern concrete stadium with it's plastic seats all covered in no smoking signs and as I sat with my pint of extra cold Guinness in my hand I thought to myself what a bloody good time to be sparking up a cigar.

So, it occurred to me, where have you been that just cried out for a good cigar but you couldn't?

I recently received a speeding ticket but have been offered a speed awareness course. Trevor has offered to sponsor me with cigars to smoke my way through it....

If I answered this thread with my first choice I would be banned! Damn you.....
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"

Under a palm tree, on a beach in the Maldives.

Not that smoking's banned out there - jus that I lack the wherewithall to get there.

I would love to be able to smoke a cigar at work. I just think that the day would go so fast; at least the un-enjoyable work side of it would. one cigar would take me to about lunch and then one or two afterward and then home. Eat dinner, pour a glass of scotch and off to the last cigar before sleep.

Nice idea for a thread BTW. Has me thinking wishfully like a kid again.

Bars and coffee shops--I'm a sitter-downer, as it were, and these are great places for a long, slow smoke.

Much as I'd like to in work, I'd end up poisoning myself by accident!

I think I'd just like to be able to smoke in pubs again really...

In my living room, during the winter.
I have no chance unless I fancy a divorce, although that would be the most expensive cigar I ever smoked.
