  • Waddya reckon...

    about this then chaps?

    Check the ash out

and the hue of the cigar.
Quite red I thought as I smoked it. The actual cigar itself was dull and flat in appearance compared to it's bro's and sisters

As I drove back home, I thought there's got to be something on this, so gave it a wipe on returning and hey ho...

Strangeness going on there methinks. I didn't finish it any further than in the last picture. Tasted a tad 'sharp' if that's anything to go by.
    Anyone have any ideas?

No dissection as yet r0lan, but I would think it's only the wrapper tbh.

The ash is awful. I say that because the monte I had early today had an ash so beautifully smooth it looked a work of art!

ive had quite a few cubans with the red stain in the ash
and im positive some of them were partagas.
partagas short definitely, also some hoyo DCs, i just cant remember the taste of the cigars and if they were good/bad, which seems to suggest they were normal!

Yeah, the ass..... ummmm, I mean ash is a bit odd. I'm used to a tight ass... Damn it! I mean ASH with a fan-like appearance with dark and lighter rings.

              Where'd you buy the bugger?

Hey el Perro! Why didn't you mention the slow starting Monty Edmundo Tubo you smoked this evening?

(Ahem!) That a story for another thread, my virgin brother.

Not allowed to say senor. The serious one, you understand

Interesting Jo, that you've had some painted ones too! lol. Taste-wise, you're right I guess.

I'm unsure about the tar thing Dave, but will definately remember that theory for future reference, cheers.

                    Hmmmm!

I must admit that this whole "can't say" thing is a wee bit confusing to a simple, but honest mexicant like meself.

Una pregunta, por favor. What if a member outside the UK...say for example, our Canadian friend senor spud, purchases a fine puro from a vendor outside the UK and said puro is delivered to Canada. Can that so-called member () mention the name of the vendor?

Or is any mention of a non-UK vendor verboten around these parts, even when delivery is outside the UK?

Good question, el Perro! Good question, indeed. I bet other members will be interested in the answer to this question.

The cigar's decription might give it way though...it's a cigar of Havana, Cuba

I've had red ash before CJ and I'm sure I enjoyed the smoke anyway. Pretty sure it was on an older smoke though...oils maybe??

                              Yeah could be Stevie.

Mind you this one was flat in appearance and the red stuff wiped off the stick. It was like it was rusty! Lol.
