    The beetles should not be much of a risk. Cigars undergo a chemical spray before departing the country to kill off the beetles. It is rare that cigars actually have the eggs.

    But still if the temperature is really high your cigars won't suffer any other kind of damage. The only thing that is necessary is the humidity level and a desktop humidor will handle that just the way you want it to. Just beware of cheap humidors that have "sureseal" technology. Those are shite.

      Also, for short term fixing just crack the lid a tiny bit. That works but over the long term it will let out too much moisture so keep that in mind.

        Yeah, that's what i am doing, only lock 3 sides of my tupperware, see how it goes, if a table humidor can keep them well, i would have one, coz they look so cool on the table top and certainly can impress freinds when they come around
