Socialism. I'm angered by it. Especially because I love cigars and cigars and politics don't mix (thank you TJ). And so having an opinion on the socialist movement that seems to be infecting all once-free nations pisses me off more because I have mistakenly crossed the streams with political opinion and cigar enjoyment on a few occasions recently. Now I'm about to make it official and put it in writing.
However, having admitted all of that I am going to propose reform in the same vein as "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em." Consider me a Socialist-for-the-benefit-of-cigar-smokers-everywhere for this brief thread rant. Here is my proposal, please comment if you like, or just nod your head in agreement as you read on:
The best cigars should not be given only to the wealthy. We need to make a cigar system that allows everyone to enjoy the same quality of cigars all the time. Government should take ownership of all cigar factories and distribute cigars to everyone for free. And when they run out of money and tell you that they can no longer afford to give you your cigar handout you can riot in the streets demanding it because, darn it, you should never have to work for anything. Working hard to buy the cigars you want is what old people from the fallen capitalist societies used to do. They were suckers.
well, am I right or am I right? (Don't answer that. Just smoke a cigar and pretend you never read this garbage. Deano? This thread is ready to be pruned...)
