Anyone ever heard of a fake D4 before?
I lit one up earlier and right from the start it was falling to bits. Then just below the band it felt like there was a hollow spot, it also felt too spongey.
So much so that I could almost squeeze it flat and it would spring back again?? The ash was dark and flakey and peeled outwards not a tight light grey ash.
I didn't think much to the taste either, in the end after the first third I got rid of it and went for an trusted Rocky.
I've got a 3 left in the humi, these were all about 6 months old and had sourced them as singles from a supplier who I wont mention but are all familiar with.
Of the 3 I've got left 2 seem a bit suspect and seem the same overly spongey hollow feel to them and compared to the 3rd the wrapper is a lot lighter in colour.
I dont ever remember having a decent one of these but have kept buying the odd one or two to give them a 2nd, 3rd chance.
Have I been unlucky again or picked up a fake?
