Well, I seem to remember once commenting that surely there couldn't possinly be a non-Cuban manufacturer who would emulate the Cuban flagship brand, Guantanamo... Actually, when I thought I'd spotted a duplicate I actually had to double check on CGars, I'd just got so used to calling them Guantanamos that I wasn't 100% sure that they were Guantanameras...
Anyway, I found some Guantanameras on an American website, listed as ultra-premium cigars... It's clearly not an attempt at emulation then...
PS. Detracting from the story somewhat, the non-Cuban brand was formed first. The American company have taken Habanos SA to court over some advertising/infringement of copyright (or some such boring issue) - I'd have taken them to court for something more like defamation personally...
