It was a pleasant but windy Thursday night when 4 gents from the south coast got together for a civilised evening of smoking fine cigars and drinking.
In the photos you will see jibjob aka Dave, he's the bald one, jpmoore aka John he's the one in the red t shirt, Johns mate who's name I have forgotten. Sorry about that John's mate and me Pandyboy, the one with the beard.
A good evening was had by all and a fair few smokes were had. I started with a NUB cameroon and then went to an Olivia connecticut and finished off with a Padron from John (thanks again). Dave had already had a NUB before I arrived can't remember which one, he then had a Rocky Patel and finished with a Cohiba singlo II i think. John started the night with (according to him) one of the best smokes he's had. All I can remember was that it cost him ?28 and was a Monte. I have forgotten the rest as Dave proceeded to give us some rum in a plastic bottle. He said it was good stuff but I'm feeling it today, ohh my head!
We spoke about cigars (quite a lot) and then moved on to the election and crime, being stopped by the old bill and Daves life on board his submarine.
I think that we all had a good time and are looking to make a Thursday a more regular occurrence with anyone who is local welcome to join us.
