Share it is! This is what I have done in the past, however, I think it is the time between getting a box and comments of "crack open the box and let's smoke", about 15 seconds that gets to me. Then hands dig in and before ya know it 10+ cigars are gone and being smoked....Even that in itself is OK, but then I find 1/2 to 3/4 smoked cigars sitting in the ash tray, because they were not cigar smokers to begin with that.....well, ya know. They are good mates though so I will suck it up.

    Cigar anyone?? lol
Yup! Did that once, senor Seagar with a box of Cohiba Siglo I I brought back from Paris. After many hands grabbed up most of the sticks, I found most left in the ashtrays barely smoked.

These dayz...I'm a wee bit more discriminating who gets my fine puros and who gets the dog-rockets.

    Lesson learned, mate!

I think I would share them around, don't think I have any rich generous friends who would buy me a whole box.

What is the etiquette when someone gives you an un-opened box of cigars as a gift? Case in point...I have received boxes of cigars as gifts over the years and each time they want me to open the box immediatly and bust out several to smoke. I would rather keep the box sealed for storage, and share some of the other fine cigars I always carry.

My thought is that if it were a bottle of wine, no one expects you to open it immediatly, why then are a sealed box of cigars any different?

                Thoughts?

I would tell them to go buy their own !!!!!
