Not sure about a smoking shack Bry but there is a shop near the spot we went to for the H&F Summer Party last year called Burlington Bertie which I have never heard mentioned here but I am sure we would appreciate a little of your incisive Poiroting. Looks tasty from the web site.

Two fantastic leads. Thank you.

My son's moving in to a place near the London Hospital so I'm taking him up there in the car tomorrow. We will eat in one of the most fantastic Indian restaurants near his place for lunch and I'm going to take my three stick ammo pouch with me to a place to light up and pork right out for the late afternoon. I've been playing badminton with turds recently at work so smoking one off - possibly with my son whom I've taught to batter sticks - will be a perfect start to my fortnight off.

If I'm too portly and bhaji bloated to make it to Berlington Bertie's or that great looking watering hole, I shall simply light up, stride about like a show-off, soak up the glances of love and fear and just let out all my gas and air.

I had thought about crossing the river to something called Vinopolis but I reckon they just sell a few sticks and would chuck you out if you lit up for fear of sullying the franchise.

So that's me, then. Up and down the M2 with tummy and olfactory pleasure during the pit-stop.

Vineopolis is right by a neat (used to be) Dickensian pub with good beer and great smoking tables if it's nice.
