I will be in Birmingham tomorrow with a couple of hours to spare. Are there any decent cigar shops here and anywhere to enjoy a cigar ideally inside?

From memory, we had a member by the name of linfield who was local to Brummigham, but he doesn't get on very often these days.
There is also the Birmingham Cigar Club, which Rhiannon is part of. They're on Facespace and may be able to help."Go you good things...geddem int'ya"

Re: Cigar shops in Birmingham
Just went to hollingsworths and the shop is pretty good. They have a nice walk in humidor which they let me have a look around and pick up the sticks which I wanted. The staff seem friendly and helpful. The humidor is well stocked with both Cuban and non cubans and they have a fair few special edition cubans which is always good to see!
Ended up going for a el rey del mundo exclusivo reino unido as well as a saint luis rey petit corona both of which I haven't tried before. They had an offer on most of the saint luis rey sticks.
Forgot to mention you can also smoke in the shop but the weathers good so I think I'll pop down the canal in a while, grab a beer and sit outside one of the pubsSmoke em if you've got em

thought i would join up and give my feedback as i went to the shop on your advice yesterday
my first time in a shop with a humidor so not a seasoned smoker of fine cigars but have had the odd one throughout the years.
I bought a
- luis martinez silver selection
- couple of churchill non branded.
- a cristales
- a couple of cheaper villager in a box of two
- a couple of different montecristo on was a no3 if that means anythign.
- two or three other cheaper non branded that were in the display case otu front.
Of them all my favourite so far has to be the churchills they dont smoke as easily as some of the others but taste and aroma of those was much nicer imho
just smoking the luis silver now and it has a nicve consistent burn but the taste is not on par with any of the others.
Hope to find otu more about smokeing with you chaps in the future and glad to have joined the forum!
Cheers

I pop into Hollingsworths whenever the wife drags me shopping into Brum (It's the only reason I agree to go) I always buy a copy of the Big Issue from the guy at the end of the arcade, because I always feel a bit guilty when I've spent a few bob on cigars, and pipe tobacco, and pipes, and....well, you now what I mean.
Hollingsworths have another branch in Solihull.

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.
