Has anyone noticed that the pound has dropped through the floor and ciagrs are no more expensive? Just as I've changed being paid in Euros to being paid in Sterling! Typical.

I'll just have to quit buying CCs till the pound surfaces again.........

      Difference.

It makes a big difference when you are purchasing one or two boxes .

Get ready for worse times to come. I watch the monetary markets quite closely, especially GBP/USD as i change quite a lot each year.

Some analysts are saying that dependant on the next election, we could see a Dollar to Pound pairing. That frightens me to death.

We are hovering around $1.50 bank rate at the moment, we just cant seem to break $1.52 .

Lots of doubt about the UK in the markets, our credit rating is seriously at risk, the bank of england is all doom and gloom, and we are still under threat more quantative easing, which will again devalue the pound

Yet there's far too little enthusiasm to remove our Chancellor-cum-Premier-cum-Chancellor from office. One can but pray... heavens above, I'd stake my money on an ape doing a better job (not that it'll be worth much by May ).

The opposition wannabe-cumbag-Chancellor was on TV last night. They did say his name and put up a caption with it written on it, but I've forgotten who he is already. What was remarkable was his resemblance to his wannabe-cumbag-Leader Daisy Cameroon or whatever his name is. I think there's a factory somewhere turning them out to some sort of PR inspired identi-clone format using bags of spare parts left over from New Labours shining legacy of botched NHS operations.

There is - it's just south of Slough.

Do you mean Slough Grammar? (As I believe it's called locally)

There sure are quite a few cigars that I would be more likely to buy from the UK if it does go to 1:1 ;o)
