  • New to forum and cigars

    Hi All

I am quite new to cigars, and am enjoying the experience. As I have to smoke outdoors I tend to do most of my smoking in the warmer months.

On a visit to Orlando a few years ago I bought some cigars from the Sosa shop at downtown disney.

I enjoyed the Sosa Pyramides No. 2, but found I needed a good amount of time to smoke one, so also bought some smaller cigars made from the same tobacco. I was suprised to find that I did not like the smaller ones, I found the flavour different. Is that unusual ?

Hi All thanks for the welcome.

Lee, I go every year too, so always pop in to the Sosa shop. Never tried the cigar bar yet (it means leaving the family doing something else). Have you been in it at all?

Hello, and welcome to the forum.
Mike: Neil, it is very rare you interest me, but today you have. Why do you keep coming in here, carrying a cake, and saying surprise?
                Neil: It's my birthday.
Mike: Now you knew that anyway, and we don't care, so where's the surprise? The Young Ones

Stew, welcome to the forum. I too have been to the Sosa shop previously and purchased a selection of different vitolas from them. It`s not unusual to prefer the bigger smokes, as the taste profile can be appreciated better when smoking something with a larger Ring Gauge.

There are 3 Corona cigar stores in Orlando, i think they all have bars. They are huge stores, nothing like Sosa, and a damn site cheaper from what i gather.

I only started last August so didnt get a chance to visit them, but search corona cigar on google to get a picture of how big they are

                        Hi Lee,

Found those shops so will give the main one a visit when we are going between Disney and Universal in August.

                        Cheers

Hi Stew. welcome to the little club we have.
