I use a 28 bottle model, perfect size, thinking about getting a another. Very, very stable. Perfect here in CO - gets very warm in the summer, and dry, dry, dry.

I have an 18 bottle wine cooler, it's a Dihl, think I got it from toyourhome.co.uk. It has a good seal and at about 63F it keeps a steady 68-70% humidity (beads).
To give you some idea of capacity; I have 14 boxes and now it's jammed full. Some of those boxes are 10 ct though. They're not all cabs.
The main thing is to ensure you get one with a thermo- electric (no compressor) cooler. The compressor will draw out the humidity. You also need to check the highest temp it will cool to, I didn't want my sticks to be too cold.
Some pics ony profile..
