Ajay and the Casa in Teddington

Wasn't aware of a Casa del Habano in blighty, it sounds like a cross between Shangri la and Alladins cave. Think I'm gonna have to schedule a trip soon too. Silly question I'm sure but I'm guessing its not cheap though, right?

Can anyone shed some light on their "sampling' policy? I live fairly close by but am currently un(der)employed but would like to possibly meet up if it comes to fruition. I would obviously purchase a few sticks while there but don't know if there is a minimum box purchase or such for non members to light up. Or, if non members are even given that opportunity.

Sean, you can buy just one stick if you like and smoke it downstairs. There's no minimum purchase

BBHD, I will wait for Drew to confirm it but I am sure he told me on Monday that the downstairs is for members, however if it isn't full of members (which is probable unless you go on Thursday or Friday evening)you can head down with Ajay's approval. But I am also sure he said that there is a 'discretionary' ?35 minimum spend.

Having said all that, Ajay is a great guy and if you are local he will want you to see it as he wants you as a member.

One major tip for a tip to Ajays though is that once you enter it's like a time machine. 2 hours will disappear. You can get 2 hours on the parking meter on the street and Ajay or his wife will check your timings and remind you so you don't get a ticket. However, there is a road behind their store which is residential and after 10.00 (I think) you can park for free.

That way when you emerge blinking into the light 3 or 4 hours later you won't be hit with a huge parking ticket to spoil your euphoria.
