  • Siglo II storage

At the end of the summer i stocked up on some winter smokes, namely Partagas shorts, RASCC and some SigloII. I put them all in the humi and they have smoked well, up till now when the draw on the Cohiba's was like sucking on a straw [a little dry] i have learned that they shouldnt have stayed in the packets [ sold in 5's] Though the Siglo packaging seems to good to discard . Anyone else keep them in there boxes.
Apparently cardboard doesnt hold moisture as well as Spanish Cedar

Should have been fine as long as they were in the humi?

not sure if the packaging is different but I have kept a Partagas d4 3 pack in the humi before with no affect on the sticks

I have some Siglo II in 5 packs that I purchased at duty free in Guatemala City on 9/06, and they smoke great. The cardboard box should not affect them if stored properly.

The cardboard Cohiba packaging should not be an issue as it is not airtight and the humidified air should be able to circulate just fine.

My thoughts as well as i cant believe Cohiba going to the trouble of such good packaging if it cant be properly marketed by the end user. Guess it was just one dodgey one in a pack . New question . Do you ever send back one dodgey stick out of a pack or box ?
