Oliva : Quality!

I've had two lil petit robusto (iirc) Oliva's Serie O's before and they were quality smokes. I had a shipment of Serie O torpedos come in where a couple were damaged, due to my humidor being literally FULL, I decided to attempt to smoke the damaged one. It was literally broken in half with an obliterated wrapper. I lit up and it wasn't having it at all and I pretty much disgarded it.

After smoking my other cigar, I decided to chop off the badly beaten half of the cigar which left a rather small nub of cigar, I lit it up and it was beautiful. Amazing draw, nice taste and quality ash. I only had about 20 lugs off it , but they were damn good! That's just the tail end of it. I look foward to smoking a full one!

If you've not tried Oliva's yet, do! You're missing out. Even a damaged one was damn nice

Another NC brand which will soon be ranking up there with Perdomo! Just quality.

Oliva really do make some fantastic cigars. My first Oliva was a Serie O Toro Tubo. I enjoyed it a hell of alot. Have you tried the Serie V? Absolutely amazing cigar IMO. If you get to try the Serie V, try the Lancero, the flavours are so crisp and clean

Yes fully agree, Oliva's are great. Had a few now , plus they make Nubs and Cains which I love

I recently had a Oliva Connecticut Reserve and was amazed at how well made these are. An incredibly solid smoke and quite different than what you would expect from a Connecticut wrapper, worth a try if you want something milder (these are pretty much medium bodied) but not boring.

Oliva also makes a bargain line. Ya if you didn't know you would say, how good can they be? At around 50 to 60 a bundle dam good !
The Connecticut wrapper is an increadable cigar. As MaledettoToscano stated it is quit different then any Connecticut wrapped cigar I've ever smoked . Kinda like a Conni on steroids !

Apart George's reserve (very nice smoke, thanks Mr Rokkitmolester ) there's Flor De Oliva. Never tried these, but heard good things about them.

NUB started in an Oliva factory but it's not really a budget stick.

The Sol Cubanos are 1) pretty good 2) are made by Oliva and 3) can be had on a budget. The Maduro is good solid stick. I've only smoked one Sumatra that was also good but can't really give a good opinion only smoking one. I prefer the Cuban Cabinet line for an everyday smoke as it's a bit more full and has a nice spice to it with a long finish reminiscent of the Serie G. They also make a very affordable blend, the Series B, that is kind of one dimensional but a solid smoke with some age on it while knocking around or tinkering with something and not paying it undivided attention. It's my favorite cigar to grab with oily or greasy hands and not care what happens as they cost about $0.63 each.
